2014 has been an amazing year so far for many reasons, some of which have just happened in the last 48 hours… With all of the contributions made to The Drifter’s Indiegogo Campaign, the film will now be hitting the festival circuit this year with $4,000 worth of entry and material funds. These funds will be used to put The Drifter in front of as many people as possible via international film festivals and related exposure. All of your contributions, no matter how big or small, have a been a tremendous aid in helping this film be all it can be, and helping me pursue my dreams. Writing, Producing, Directing, Editing, Mixing, Marketing, and Fundraising my first feature-film has been quite a journey, and definitely an experience I wouldn't trade for anything.
I am also very proud to announce that as of April 1st, all music recording has been completed by our very talented composer Matt Duncan, and will now enter a phase of tweaking and mixing. We are still racing to meet an April 25th deadline in order to submit to Burbank International Film Festival.
THANK YOU AGAIN- AND ALWAYS to those who have donated money, shared links, or supported The Drifter in anyway.

This BTS video was shot in March 2012, a pivotal time in the life of The Drifter. On location at Lake Louisa State Park, our team set out to recreate the Director's short film from 2009, in an effort to raise money for the production of a full-length version. The script was written and produced by Craig Calamis and Danny Bellini over the course of the previous two years and was set to begin production that June.
Funds for the film were raised using a combination of crowd-sourcing, live fundraising events, and private donations. The entire production, encompassing twenty-one days of shooting, cost just under thirteen thousand dollars to produce.
Principal photography for The Drifter Wrapped on June 23, 2012. There were two additional days of pickup shooting, and two years of post-proudtcion. By the time of its release, this micro-budget production will have totaled four faithful years in the making.
ATTN: Drifter Fans and Friends!
There are TWELVE HOURS left on our Indiegogo Campaign so if you haven't contributed yet and you'd like to, there's no time like the present.
Thank you to everyone who has donated to the film, shared the link, commented on the page, or anything you may have done to help promote The Drifter. There's so many of you, but only one film, one director. Your contributions, no matter how big or how small are tremendous in my efforts to make this film all it can be, and put it on as many screens as possible.
Regardless of meeting the goal amount originally placed on the campaign, (and thanks to Indiegogo.com) The Drifter will be retaining all of the funds raised, minus some fees. Just under $3,660 is going to distributing The Drifter! AMAZING JOB EVERYONE AND THANK YOU!
